TAKE CARE OF YOUR GOLDFIN SHORTS
RINSE
Make sure to rinse your swim shorts after each and every wear. Sunscreens contain ingredients that can be damaging to the fabric and can lead to the eventual breakdown of the material. Another reason to be meticulous about washing your shorts, particularly if you’re taking a dip in the pool? Chlorine is harsher on swimwear fabrics than fresh and salt water and can leave bright colors especially susceptible to fading.
WASH COLD
Don’t just throw your shorts in the washing machine or use just any detergent.
For best results, wash your swimsuit by hand. If you’re away from home and don’t have detergent or vinegar readily available, we suggest rinsing your shorts in fresh water at the very least.
HANG TO AIR DRY
STORE DRY
To keep your swim shorts in tip-top shape, also be mindful to avoid these don’ts:
- Don’t soak your swim shorts overnight. This can loosen fibers
- Don’t let your swim shorts dry directly in the sun. This may cause fading
- Don’t put your Goldfin swim shorts in the dryer or wring-dry
- Don’t iron your swim shorts
